Uninstall

Removing BubbleFacts takes three parts: take it out of OBS, remove your data from inside the app, and remove the app itself. No typing commands needed.

Remove it from OBS

  1. In OBS, find the BubbleFacts Browser source under Sources.
  2. Right-click it and choose Remove.
  3. Do this in every scene where you added it.

Remove your data from the app

BubbleFacts keeps your settings, your sign-in, the 2 GB AI model, your own facts and its logs in a folder on your computer. Removing the app alone leaves them there, so a reinstall picks up where you left off. To remove them too:

  1. If you turned on start at login, turn it off in the app's Settings first.
  2. In BubbleFacts, open Settings, then Advanced.
  3. Click Remove my BubbleFacts data. It deletes your settings, sign-in, the AI model, your own facts and the logs, then quits the app.

Planning to reinstall and want to keep your settings? Skip this step, and just quit BubbleFacts from its icon in the menu bar (Mac) or system tray (Windows and Linux).

Remove the app

Mac

Open your Applications folder and drag BubbleFacts to the Trash.

Windows

  1. Open Settings, then Apps, then Installed apps.
  2. Find BubbleFacts, click it (or the … button next to it), and choose Uninstall.

Linux

  • If you installed the .deb: open App Center, go to Manage (or Installed), find BubbleFacts, and click Uninstall.
  • If you used the AppImage: delete the BubbleFacts .AppImage file.
If the app won't open

If you can't open BubbleFacts to remove your data, you can delete its folder yourself after removing the app.

Mac ~/Library/Application Support/BubbleFacts In Finder, choose Go, then Go to Folder, paste the folder, and press Return. Drag the folder to the Trash.
Windows %APPDATA%\BubbleFacts Paste the folder into the address bar of File Explorer and press Enter. Go up one folder and delete BubbleFacts.
Linux ~/.config/BubbleFacts Open Files in your Home folder and press Ctrl+H to show hidden folders. Open .config and delete BubbleFacts.

Not coming back?

If you used a token, removing your data deletes the copy on your computer, but the token still works. To switch it off, sign in at streamersonglist.com, go to Settings, then Access, and delete it. Do the same for any Groq or Anthropic key on their websites.
